Add Value

Explore our casting capabilities, from traditional methods to advanced manufacturing solutions.

What is add value?

Casting is a manufacturing process in which a liquid material is poured into a mold and allowed to solidify into a specific shape. It is ideal for producing complex parts with precision, strength, and cost-efficiency. At EDS, we offer a wide variety of casting methods to meet your technical and economic requirements.

3D Metal Printing

Sand casting is one of the oldest and most versatile casting techniques. It uses sand as the mold material and is ideal for large components with complex geometries and moderate production volumes.

3D Printes Cores

Also known as lost-wax casting, this process produces high-precision components with excellent surface finish. It is suitable for intricate parts used in aerospace, automotive, and medical industries.

Assemblies

This method improves surface finish and dimensional accuracy by using a resin-coated sand shell. It is commonly used for medium-to-high volume production of small to medium parts.

Machining

Machining employs reusable metal molds and relies on gravity to fill the cavity. It offers better strength and surface quality than sand casting, with shorter cycle times.

Surface Finishing

This innovative method uses foam patterns that vaporize during casting. It enables precise replication of complex geometries with minimal finishing operations.
